Health and Fitness Job Opportunities

CEdge Fit is currently seeking Certified Fitness Trainers to Join Our Orlando Team!

Part-Time (Independent Contractor):

Provide professional fitness instructions, conduct sessions, and provide staff support as necessary with company fitness demands.

Duties:

  • Work with Fitness Trainer Director to ensure training operations exceed member and client expectations
  • Promote company services and programs to potential clients
  • Assist in enrolling new clients, and generating referrals from existing clients
  • Carry out Competitive Edge Fit’s training regulations and protocols to perform Assessments, Individual, Semi-private, and Group Training sessions.
  • Conducting Classes and Group Training sessions outside of initial scheduled hours as directed by Fitness Training Director.

Qualifications:

Nationally Accredited Personal Training certification from approved certification Personal Training Certification (minimum of one):

NESTA, ACE, ACSM, Cooper Fitness, NASM, NATA, NSCA, NPTI, ISSA, and preferably a Bachelor of Science degree in a fitness related field.

Prior to being hired, Fitness Instructor must provide current CPR & AED certification. Also, provide up-to-date liability insurance.

Fitness Experience:

One (1) year commercial fitness instruction preferred or school internship experience in similar fitness environment. Personal fitness and exercise experience strongly encouraged.

Personal Skills
  • Punctual, dependable, and service oriented.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational.
  • Excellent physical condition, professional manner and appearance.
  • Excellent verbal communication and promotional skills.
  • Working knowledge of functional strength equipment, free weights and cardiovascular equipment.
  • Strongly self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology and kinesiology.
Compensation:
  • Employment is Part-Time (Independent Contractor), but could possibly turn full-time
  • Dependant on Experience, Group or Personal Training, $10-25 per session
